GIVE! And it will be given...

So I have this friend named Sherry. She comes up with some really good, service related ideas. This is her latest:

Many families in the Gila Valley are unable to afford cold-weather apparel for their children or even themselves. With so many people struggling financially, your donations mean more this year than ever. The Gila Valley Ministerial Association invites you to join us as we respond to this need during the month of November with a Gila Valley…

      COAT DRIVE !!
We hope to collect 100 new or gently used coats suitable for infants – adults.
Bring your coats to Sherry Brady’s office at the First United Methodist Church located at 1020 S 10th Avenue anytime from now until noon on November 16th. (The office is located on the west side of the Fellowship Hall across from My Neighbor’s Garden.)
The coats will be handed out on Friday, November 16th between the hours of 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at First United Methodist Church.
Blessing to all of you living on the east coast! My prayers and thoughts are most certainly with you.

    1. We are going to buy one (for grandson) and then another one (for the drive).

  2. Amazing - my neighbours and I have just this week, gathered all of our unused or unwanted (for various reasons) winter coats and taken them to our local charity. It is a cold area here and coats are always a welcome item.
