Silent Sunday

  1. Reminds me of a hymn we used to sing; I wonder why we don't sing it any more...
    Love you,

  3. P.S. (Sorry about that delete above. Typo that I caught after I hit "send."...sigh.)
I hope that your day was a peaceful and lovely one.
Ours was a beautiful one. We went to church this morning, had lunch, and spent the afternoon here at our home with the Grandchildren.
It has warmed up here considerably, and the youngest Grand played with the water hose in the backyard. I didn't let her get "wet"...just let her spray the water into a bucket...dump it out...spray again. Spray the water into the sunshine and look for the rainbow(s)... And...yes, I had to change her wet clothes and dry her tennis shoes. She couldn't resist stomping around in the puddles that she made! Nana should have known better!
    Love you,
    Jackie

    1. WATER! We are under such heavy water restrictions here in the SW that I feel our attempt at a garden will simply and utterly wither! We have HIGH wildfire alerts and today a wind advisory between the hours of 10 am - 8 pm. I do not believe I could have been a pioneer traveling by wagon train to the great expanse of the WEST! So glad you had a wonderful, peaceful Sunday and time to spend with the Grand. Ours is due to be here this Friday - Sunday.
