Our
Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
The
power, and the glory,
For ever
and ever.
Amen.

Silent Sunday 11.04.2012 ~tamara
Well this is the second time today that I have said The Lord's Prayer. It won't be the last!
ReplyDeleteLove Di ♥
Me either, Di. It is how I will end the day!
DeleteI love the Lord's prayer...
ReplyDeleteHe gave it to us as a model, and when I was in school, we used to say it every single morning (along with the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag.)
Thank you for sharing it with us...
Love you,
J.
I told the Hubs we need to teach it to our Grandson Zachary. I tried to teach him the pledge of allegiance, however when done he queried, "Do you want to be invisible, Gram'Ma?"
Deletefor Thine is the kingdom and the power and the GLORY!
